Who am I?

My name is Dóra, I was born in a small village in Tállya. My parents have been guiding me towards growing grape and wine-making since I was a child, although I admit that this was not exactly my big dream.

I moved to Budapest at the age of 14 and started my studies at the Soós István Secondary School of Winemaking. It wasn't exactly a smooth ride, especially since I hadn't really ventured anywhere before.

Later, I graduated as a wine technician and a great opportunity presented itself. I went to Germany to do an internship and also enrolled in a wine school, where I could receive dual training.

I was working at a family winery next door, with pretty much zero language skills. So I literally threw myself into the deep end.

Alright, I'm off to explore the world now

I finished school there after 2 years, and then I worked for 1 more year at a larger winery, where I dealt with logistics and export-import. So I spent my everyday life in a huge warehouse. It was great, believe me.

But, driven by a sudden idea, I suddenly found myself in the warm, tropical Thailand.

This was followed by Indonesia's beautiful culture, mountains, volcanoes, and many exciting tours.

I lived in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines

How did I live? How did I get to this place? It wasn't from winemaking and grape picking, that's for sure. 🙂

Finding my way

I've been to many places, met many great people and learned many things. What? Humility, dignity, the fact that wherever I go, I can't escape problems and myself. Als,o through self-love, I saw myself for the first time here. I faced my fears, and these paths were necessary for me to be here now and fight for what I believe in.

Life has never been easy and it never will be, we can't expect someone to solve our problems for us. We have to move forward, learn and do everything for ourselves.
